Got some rust spots and scabs under the wheel arch trims & behind the bumper im going to sort my self but not sure whats the best way to go about it.

Anyone got any tips or advice on sorting them?

If it's just behind the bumper and non-cosmetic sand/grind it all down so there is no rust left what-so-ever. Use some etch primer on it and then just cover that over with some Hammerite or similar.

i use a flap disc on a grinder red lead , prime then paint and boom no rust

Whats a flap disc?

Is there anything i could attach to a drill instead of using a grinder a i dont have one.

Was thinking of waxoyling the whole rear panel and around the arches for maximum protection or just rub back where the rust is treat it paint then laquer.

Not really sure what way to do it.

Found rust in the spare wheel well tonight.I was kinda expecting it but its not rotten yet but needs treating asap.

Also there are 5 rubber bungs there and only 2 of the have holes in.

Are all 5 suppose to have holes in the bungs to allow air in??

Rust will come back if you just cover it up. Even if you sand it to bare metal, and cover over it, it will come back at some point.

Would be treating it with hammerite Kurust before any painting or waxoyling.

Got some pics today to see what you guys think would be the best way to sort it.

Its just surface rust it not rotten.The wheel well is not rotten but is a little worse than surface rust & seems soild.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

My spare wheel well is like yours Mark I'm just going to get it cut out and have a new base welded in I think so I havent got to worry about it coming back again

Use a scraper fetch as much rust off as possible, then use sand paper to get as much rust as you can off, treat it with rust stopper/killer and spray it imo.

Going to take mine of tomorrow while I'm sorting out the rust in my bay, still not to sure of the process mind you.
