I think they were taken not long after the grass went down.
We are really happy with how the decking turned out. It took us a long time to build, its got about 30 posts holding it up in 50-70cm deep holes so its certainly sturdy enough!
Also the 'pointed' bit on the decking is painted with the exact same stuff as the rest of the decking, it just looks darker/lighter depending what angle you look at it from
