Yeah theres good money to be had working as a health physicist, though i'm not sure i'd wanna be the first person sent into a potentially active area.

I am all the time lol, obviously all the safety precautions are used. You can work out how much radiation a 'source' is emitting if the distance from it is known using the inverse square law.
