just started car today and have noticed when i rev it she smokes like shit exhaust also has a blow somewhere its not smokey at all when idle what can this be please say nothing to serious as ive not had car long and paid 700 for it have i been done

shaunmods nah it dont sits at 1/4 or half never any higher no gunk under oil cap or that still goes like shit had 120 out it last nyt then stated it today and smokey as hell but clear when not touching accerator

hmm am I right thinking its an x16xe? Whats the oil consumption like on it? If its under acceleration it could be burning oil maybe? Really common on these engines

not a clue how can i find out oil is very low well its clear but see if i hit limiter it smokes like shit yeah been told they bad for oil chewing like what could be causing that then

Top it up then monitor how much oil it uses over a certain period and report back. The difference between min and max on the dipstick is 1 litre

will do cheers how much do u reackon i would be if its the valve oil stem seals to get it fixed as really like car and just paid 700 for it last week pure gutting

Could be either the stem oil seals or piston rings. Mines gone at the rings, still goes like stink but i get 50mile to £20 and that's damn low lol
