Iv had a 1.4 engine dropped into my corsa sport, it's been cammed so is quite nippy lol .. but when idling its pretty lumpy n sometimes stalls . Im not sure if this just because of the cams or is there a problem somewhere else, anyone got any ideas? cheers

Spec of said cams fitted to engine? May be cams if they are lumpy beasts.

1.4 8v or 16v? not done much on an 8v but they on a dizzy in the corsa or not? just if are couldnt you play with the timing to try and stop it stalling or if either a 8v or 16v....raise the idle 100rpm or so, may help. ive built 20xes that idle at 1200rpm just so dont cut out because of the work thats gone into them

Philip, Just FYI, They did both dizzy and coilpack in corsa's, Mostly early ones that are dizzy though, Even though some of the later nova's are coilpack (iirc anyway!)

cheers for that matey...its funny that i could build a screaming motor 8v or 16 yet i have no idea whther they were dizzy or coilpack haha
