have decided to start sourcing parts to do a home brew turbo conversion on my 1.8.

have got a set of HEL performance brake lines
Got a set of 308s on order from BenG
Got some DOT 4 brake fluid.

When im used to the brakes will upgrade the disks and pads. Not sure what disks but im thinking ds2500 pads.

Turbo i have is a gt1752, so only a small tubby for the minute.
Next week will order some coilies and mani with turbo flange.

Other plans are, paint the calipers black front and back. Going to have ago at refurbing my SRis myself in green aswell.
I plan on getting some new alloys, Rota slipstreams/comp mo's and would like to wrap them in toyo proxies R888's

Im a noob when it comes to turbos so will be looking for all the help i can get lol

Will be sstripping the car out and fitting fixed bucket seats aswell hopefully

My brakes that im using

attempted to take the rear callipers + carriers off on wednesday, expected to be there an hour at most if i took my time.

Well 2 hours later and i only manged a single caliper!!

The drivers side rear caliper one of the bolts just wont budge so going to soak that in WD40 tomorrow to try and loosen it.

The caliper on the passenger side came off fine but both carrier bolts are rounded off

I also Managed to destroy a brake pipe lol

few pics

Managed to get the rear brakes off on thursday.

All it took was a broken ratchet and some heat

Spent today painting my callipers and carriers

Green carriers

Rear disks and pads are pritty fooked. So ordered some new ones from vx, £53 for disks and pads

Will fit the brakes after ive picked my new disks/pads on monday

cheers. plans are for it to be a track car. Wont do much looks wise to the outside, want some rota slipstreams or compomotive mo's with r888 rubber.

Will hopefully be ordering my mani and coilovers end of next week.

Im thinking about tinting the rear windows to hide the fact that it will be stripped out, make it more of a sleeper

One bit of advice I'd start with a bigger turbo t25 at least,
Starting with a tiny one will limit you very quickly once you get bored.

Though I don't know what that turbo is good for lol.
