I'm no photographer, just a total n00b, in fact, I only got my first camera a couple of weeks ago and no nothing about how to use manual mode so have just been shooting in automatic mode.

Was wondering if there's any basic guides around to get me started on manual mode?

the basic principle is the slower the shutter speed and the lower your iso the better quality your pics will be

however there will be times where this isnt possible eg for moving objects etc
