Hi folks,

Some how the chap who resprayed my car lost my rear number plate

and thus I need to get a new one made up tomorrow at halfrauds (he'll cover the cost...).

Now the problem... I need proof of ID (driving license =

) and proof of entitlement - I searched for my v5 in the 'car' folder at home and it's nowhere to be found

I've got my MOT cert and insurance cert will this suffice? I'm due to pick the car up tomorrow lunchtime and will be wanting to drive it all day

p.s I live in a house with 7 other people so things do get moved / lost most of the time

You need the v5 or equivalent documentation such as private plate documents not mot or insurance for some reason

Ok folks... managed to find it in the end.. the girlfriend had put it in a folder hidden away!
