Where do they get prices from. Sure they make things up.
My sister has 2 houses, and rents one out, so im thinking of renting it off her soon, so messing with insurance quotes.
My postcode is LS13, not a very good one, sisters is LS28, only 2 miles up the road, but a better postcode.
Me and the GF on my 106 GTi living at LS13 - £1,440
Me and the GF on my 106 GTi living at LS28 - £1,120
So this i understand, different post codes etc. This is what i dont understand.
Me and the GF on my 106 GTi living at LS13 BUT parking the car at LS28 - £1,008 
How does that work?

Ha bit stupid! maybe something to do with the keys not being near the car? most cars these days cant be started without the chip in the key for the imobiliser. just a guess correct me if i'm wrong!

Suppose didnt think of that, yeah your right about needing the key.
