hey i have just got the sony head.

having a few probs when i play with the setting the settings the SUB W level does not seem to work it ranges -10DB and goes to +10DB but theres no change when i do this... also the bass seems way to loud so i turned it all down on the amp still no effect ?????

have you connected your amp to the sub pre out or just one of the line out's?

i have connceted to the head unit to the amp and the amp to the sub , will it be the rca cables???

on the back of the stereo there will be 3 sets of pre outs,1 of the them will be the dedicated sub out.you need to connect your phono leads from the amp to that for the sub control to work.
ive got mine on one of the rear pre outs and i just use the fader to control the subs.
i dont have any normal speakers in the back though just subs.

i bet i put it in the wrong ones bloody hell will it still work with the rca's not in the correct one tho, and theres only 2 sets of rca holes ??
