not being harsh but that's a pretty boring lifestyle i enjoy my food and have spaghetti bolognese, chicken curry, chicken salad, beef casserole etc every week.

Yeah I cant understand the point of eating that cheaply you can eat quite cheaply from butchers if your single. its cheaper for me that way as i buy what i want so for example could get chiken breast, couple of sausages, steak and pork chops and costs less than a fiver and much better quality of meat. veg cheaper and better quality from market just use supermarket for bread milk and tinned.

I didn't say thats all I ate. I was saying that you don't have to spend a lot to eat. I work in Waitrose and see the same familys spending £200+ on a weeks shopping. I was just saying it doesn't have to be like that.

lol nah i agree not point in spending that. I live on my own and mine averages 25 pound a week on food without cleaning stuff etc

It generally works out more expensive if you live on your own as you can't really take advantage of buy one get one frees (e.t.c.) on fresh food, unless you like chucking stuff away.
