I bought a brand new 57 plate 2.0 TFSI Special Edition
Lots of options added to it.
Also had full APR exhausts, APR remap, Carbonio CAI, BBS CH's.
Looked great, fairly comfortable, but... boring to drive. The Quattro was, OK.
I'd stick with the Golf R32.

3 Series bland but functional interior but miles ahead in drivability and even the non sport models are fun to drive.
I have have had both and the BMW wins hands down. e90 330i's are good bargains now I can imgine that would be a great car you may even get some change back from the r32.
