He doesn't like the cupra's (test drove one a few weeks back) the megane isn't for him. Looking for practicality for his family but also something Which can shift when it needs to for work on motorways and just for when e wants to thrash it at a weekend. After speaking to him yesterday the ST is top of the list at the moment unless anyone has anyothet ideas? Cheers

I have driven a couple of Astra VXRs and can say I thought it was very nice, especially on the Mway! Not driven an ST but meant to be the better chassis. 16mpg is fucking ludo tho!

They are a cracking drive. Just the dont fill you with confidence when properly going for it. Its like it acts different everytime you go into a bend fast. One time it wonts to understeer, then the back end wants to come out etc. TBF, the one ive blast about alot has the 19's on it and im sure all the proper vxr 'racers' ditch them for the 18s.
