do the bus tours downtown and uptown, hop on and off.
walk round lower manhatten/wall st
walk round times sq and the herald cte
go to bloomingdales
go up the rock
go to the museums around central park
go to grand central terminal
go to battery park
go to the WTC site
go on the statten isalnd ferry
see a show on broadway
eat out in the meatpackers distric
stay at the novotel in times sq

If you like clothes shopping and have money to spend, get on a day trip to Woodbury Commons outlet stores.

Do NOT do that unless youre there for dayssss 5th avenue, the department stores and SoHo shoudl be plenty enouigh for shoppign whilst youre there, never mind going to the outlet village

agree but you need min of 4 days if its your first time to see as much as you can and you will not cover everything
Leave the outlet for second /third time visits
Its an ace place but expensive

Go to Greenwich village and hit the bars and pubs. You can also go and look at the apartment block from Friends.
