Hi, anyone know how far from the city centre the City of Manchester Stadium is from the city centre.

Up there Friday for Take That and was thinking of parking up near the stadium then heading into the city centre for a bit.....any help would be appreciated

It's only a couple of miles. I've walked it before now. If you go to the printworks first there will be loads of taxis waiting outside so just jump in one of them. Will only be a fiver.

About 20 min walk from Piccadilly. Taxi is only a couple of quid.

dont park on the stadium is the advice the gf got when her tickets came.

they apparently bloke off the stadium car park so all the people can walk out withut getting run over .

wicked thanks......there's apparently 8000 spaces in and around the stadium so will try and park a little bit away and get a cab into town

Who's planting them now
Be careful not to park in the Asda accross the road and watch the side streets as a lot are permit holders only when events are on at the stadium.
