My prediction is the following:
Everyone will rave about it like fuck
Videos released will look immense, people will rave more
I'll complain it will be just like the others with new killstreaks, guns, maps and glitches
More videos will make it look immense
I'll get sucked in by the hype
It will be released
I'll buy it
Everyone will think its amazing for the first 2 weeks, including me
Glitches and hackers will ruin the fun
I'll stop playing it, as will a few others
I'll place BC3 into my PS3 and have much more fun and wonder why I keep getting sucked into the COD frenzy

tbf, MW2 lasted me a good 5-6 months before I got annoyed with the quickscoping. Even when people were boosting it re-ignited my interest by hunting them down constantly and ruining their cheating.
I will be buying it on release day, and i'll enjoy beating my friends who aren't as good. I'll probably play a couple of games with you guys, realise i'm distinctly average, and ignore all the people on my "friends" list.
My mate will buy it after a couple of weeks and then bitch about everyone being at a higher level, and better, play to level 5 before getting annoyed and throwing his controller around the room, and then go and exchange it for LBP3 or singstar
