beautiful looking car. always preferred escoss' because they were the car to own when i was young and can't quite remember the sierra but still amazing looking cars.

only thing i hate are the wheels on these sit so far in the arches that they look a bit lost.

in 20 years new fords now will still be around and won't be rusty.

20 year old fords now are meant to be rusty but some aren't, which makes them desirable

guarantee there will be a surplus of cheap focus rs' on the market in 20 years time.

why is that so funny? funnily enough old vauxhalls rust, new ones don't. why is this? oh yeah, because manufacturing techniques are different and the metal actually has protection on it nowadays.

Can't see the modern RS500 being around in 20 years, they just don't have the same appeal these days.

Ford began proper rust protection when the Focus came out.

(although I've heard they have started rusting too)

New fords still rust, for example my dads van is two years old and is rusting in several places.

You really think in 20 years todays fords aren't going to be rusting?

i don't mean they will be worth the money the sierras and escorts command these days but they will still be around. they won't just rust away into nothingness.

mk1 focus, mk5 fiestas rust.

mk6 fiesta onwards will be fine.

newer cars will only rust if the paint is damaged through to the metal and people leave it instead of getting it repaired.

New fords do rust though especially the vans, they havent found a miracle cure to rust problems recently.
