Racing incident / 50:50 is a fairly apt description for the McNish one.
The Ferrari driver hit the rear quarter, plenty of time to see McNish coming through and slacken his line to avoid contact.
*however*
To get up the inside, McNish was riding the kerbs on the inside, it was a hell of a dive and looking at the slow-mo, he wasnt holding the line well and was going to run slightly wide on exit. Surprising move with under an hour on the clock.
