I've had this car for 14 months now and have never got round to updating my profile on here and posting some pics

I decided to get rid of the clio with the "stickers that look out of place on a housing estate"

I really like the car, i think i may have to get rid of it soon due to money problems and having to relocate, plus i've done over 2000 miles on it in the last 2 weeks so think it might cost me a fortune if i keep that up.

Cheers

Lovely car mate. How do you find it? Do you have to really wring its neck to get it going or not?

In short, if it's like mine, then yes But these things are ridiculously good handling motors, so scrubbing off speed on a blast isn't as much of a concern Is it modified at all?

I really like it, it's great fun to drive and doesn't feel sluggish at any speed, obviously it's like all the other v-tec cars, but it's fine to drive, pulls all the time, but really takes off after 5500 rpm

Love the car but it's time for it to go i think, i need a diesel for the next year or two

Handles like it's on rails, brilliant to drive as i'm sure you find yours is

It's got an exhaust on it that was done in Japan but it's not too loud, just right imo

only other thing is a CD player the previous owner put in, otherwise it is completely standard

Yeah i just chopped the front number plate down so it fitted perfect with the small front plate.

I much prefer it to standard and it's something different to the reg plate being moved to the left side of the bumper.

A couple of people have emailed me about it since i did it, i may have to buy a standard one though for selling the car with

Jap interiors never tend to be anything amazing, but everything is so well positioned in the DC5 it makes driving it an even bigger pleasure. It's great the indicator stalk being on the right as well as you don't have to move your arms to indicate. Just when you drive another car and go to indicate and you put the wipers on flat out instead

Lazy driving ftw. DC5s are so easy to drive it's unreal. Only downside to that is you may get a bit too over confident one day!

Yeah every so often when you are driving quite lazily and the LSD kicks in going round a corner at normal speed and tries to drag you to the kerb, certainly interesting then

Gavin i know there are a few little touches that you can do to improve them, unfortunately i never got round to doing them so it's for the next owner
