How are you going to buy it at the more expensive price it's advertised as 50p each yet scans at 1p not the other way round! So unless you ask them to charge you more then there going trough at  it woulnt work

true.
used to happen all the time when i worked at somerfield.
price marked on the shelf is the price we had to sell it for, even if it was wrong.
we would then correct the price afterwards. hardly a big loss if you spot the mistake early.
