just bought a new alpine screen/headunit but ps2 wont work as parking brake isnt connected 2 headunit any ideas?

Fitted one of these a little while back for a friend. All you need to do is connect the wire that goes to the parking brake to a permanent earth. You should find that this solves your problem and is the easiest method. By doing this though, the screen will display the image from the PS2 even when driving. If you dont want it to work like that and you only want to display the PS2 image when the parking brake is on, connect the wire to the power side of the parking brake.

I just hooked mine up to the earth cable from the hu, took about 2 mins.
