right after pvs im selling the 3.0 astra van running costs are unreal

im going to build a corsa td 1.7

if i base it on a say 1.0 or 1.2 petrol what will i need

obv if i can get hold of a 3 door 1.5td i will but quite rare

so will probs be a petrol

so diesel tank and lines from a 1.5td

engine loom and downpipe from a 1.5td

1.7 diesel engine

unsure on box so would like sum advise on this

probs missed loads

any advice well apreciated thanks dan

he's on about putting an isuzu 1.7td into a corsa after webothsaw n got talkin to boz-gsi at pvs when his box blew.
legend he wasfitting a boxon sunday in the rain before the drive home.
so anyone else knows whats involved please help

Just get a diesel Corsa in the first place, it will be a lot less messing about.

Diesel corsa has different mounts to a petrol, ive got a standard 1.7d was at PVS me and redtom are guna turbo it, easiest way is to run the cav 1.7td lump

right yep seen the 3 door 1.7 flat d easy to get hold of so using one of these i will need isuzu 1.7td engine charging loom, 1.5td down pipe what else guys

the looms are the same you need the complete td engine with 1.5td downpipe then what else you needs depends what gearbox you want to use (small or big block)

use a 1.5 td flywheel box and shafts.. you will need to grind abit off the back off the 1.7td block to fit the mount.. i would use the 1.7td down pipe is its a bit bigger bore.. and have a custom exhaust. you want to be at least 2 1/4 bore if your running high boost.

you will also need to use a 1.5 oil filter beacause the 1.7 one gets in the way
