and ingham by cut i mean few holes in numberplate recess and possibly on drivers side for filter flow

and to be honest yes it will look like a gsi with graphics...because thats what it is no point making out its a race car is there?

been busy on the engine prior to modified national as it was looking tatty and was letting the car down so after a fair few hours here it is, i think it looks 100 times better

removed sai and next on cards is remove abs unit along with egr. then will be a case of relocating battery and header tank

with the weather being hot the car temp had been rising so i thought id set about helping it get some cold air...
1st was to cut out the front gril as it was verry restritive


i took the bumper off and found that majority of the radiator was being blocked with the crossmember so removed

then was to tackle/remove the number plate recess and part of the lower grill


iv already removed the inner arch but decided ti cut a few holes to help with abit more air flow to the filter aswell

then was a case of bolt back on and remove the air horns and give a quick coat of bumper black rinished article...

Why dont you just change the fan switch and see why its geting hot rather than change a bumper and butcher it?

the fan does come on and i also have a constant switch i use...but the crossmember/crash bar is always going to restrict air when moving and the bumper on it are ten a penny so just had a play as im soucing a gsi one for day to day use and the "butchered" one for track time

get a 4.2.1 manifold sorted for it and its ideal. keep away from 4.1 though

and im glad you haven't badgered a gsi bumper there hahaha

got the cars history out today over 60 receipts from mainly demon tweeks and around 50 from vauxhall full service history and receipt for new engine too

what on earth was bought from demon tweeks on the car ?? does it have fibreglass bonnet and boot ??

what spec does the car have if ur breaking it ?

seats harness's wheels suspension the list goes on mate no not fibreglass

i REALLY dont wanna break it as i have no room as it is so that was why its going cheep
