Well yesterday I convinced a local chav to swap my horrid O.Z wheels on my saxo for his VTR wheels. Anyway after swapping three wheels over we got to the last one on mine and the locking nut will not budge because the wheel nut key thing has become a bit worn over time so is just slipping. Does anyone know how I can get it off without runing anything (apart form the locking nut)
Any help much appreciated cheers

Done this on two seperate cars and works great (as long as you don't need that particular socket anymore )

I did give that ago it went on really tight but as soon as I put a lot of pressure on the bar to undo the nut it started spinning, what can I do to stop that? or shall I just try a socket that is far too small?

they work great for locking wheel nuts TBh and £40 is expensive for them, can pick them up from tool shops for sub £20

Just throw the socket and nut in the bin. Both will be fucked.

40 quid was in reference to the locking wheel nut removers you can get from halfords not the irwin bolt removers, i pad 15 quid for the irwin bolt removers

now i see £40 is still a lot for the locking nut removers tho. can get similar things for a lot cheaper. halfords for you tho i suppose.
