Hello all,
Been on all corsa for a while and came to a joint meet with you bunch and i was the only all corsa member to show. So i thought id register on here and whip up a project thread. Unfortunatly progress is gonna be slow cause my insurance was £2400 quid thanks to a "mate" stabbing me in the back and putting in a claim against me. Anyways ill let some pics do a bit of talking

The day i bought it

First thing was a we bit of spraying inside to add some colour

Then made the horrible mistake of putting on some eyebrows And purchased some second hand ripspeed wheels £50 with tyres.

Did more work on the inside. found a gear knob in the garage, cant go wrong there . this is how it is now.

Then there was the crash. So during repairs i sprayed up the bumpers gloss black.

Wanted some shine then so got a bit of laquer on it. Also some smoked side reps £3 , and a mesh grill £5. Used the badge from the old smashed up grill to be a bit different.

Then went super crazy with laquer for even more shine

Then, the coolest addition to date

Then got this on ebay for a tenner

fitted it

Then someone nicked the centre caps, they are only ripspeed dont know why the bothered haha.

Used some wd40 and some wet + dry on the rocker cover

few final pics

And thats how it is today. Only difference is the front badge fell off may put it back on, and i debadged the rear. Plans are:

Softstars
Lower 40mm
Depos
Smoked MHW's
Gsi Spoiler
Rieger front bumper
Gsi skirts or similar
Full colour code on bumpers, arches.
Colour code bootlock
Straight through centre section, my standard one is full of holes
Strip down the engine and rebuild it
In the distant future get hold of an x14xe and stick that in.
And ill add more when i can think of them

Opinions and suggestions welcome, be kind haha

punto rear wiper,
debadged front and rear fully.

Ill let the pics do the talking

even got the missus car in the background , keeps her happy.

Been looking on the fk site, gonna get 60 quid together and lower 40mm with uprated shocks . Then softstar or tigra wheels.
comments and suggestions welcome

Been a long time since I updated this. Still here is a recent update .
Got the sport spoiler on.
Old wheels gone
Tigra wheels bought and refurbed.
Lowered 40mm
Car hit 100k
Sportex straight through centre section

And i think thats everything....

Well happy with the results. Handling is brilliant now. Swapping the rears was a pain though as I could not get the shocks off so I just compressed the rear springs. Backbox is hitting off one of the springs I think though. Need to sort that out. Car has hit 100k also. Now going to be on the lookout for a new engine. Was hoping for a x14xe but it turns out I couldnt insure it. So ill get another x12xe in the summer holidays.

Plans before PVS:
Laguna Splitter
Stienmetz skirts in black
Rubstrips on
New brakes, Either grooved or just some mintex discs and pads as mine are knackered.
Clean up the engine bay
Sort the body rust.

Long term I hope to have:
front and rear strut braces
Cav rear arb
Maybe a singe black bucket for when I'm on my own and the country road beckons
f13cr
Port and polish inlet and exhaust manifolds
Remap, just to see what you can get out of the x12xe. would be happy with over 72

Thats all I can think of for now.

Suggestions and comments welcome!

Matt

Woo update time!
Nothing too major but I took plenty of pics anyways.
Colour coded the door handles and resprayed some of the interior, also done some tidying of my engine bay, not pics yet but shaun can tell you how dirty it was at the meet looooong ago

Attacked it with brake cleaner, the smell is well.... potent. Ended up sitting in the garage for 30 mins waiting for it to wear off, goes to your head. Went to the dogs head too!

Piccy time:

C&C welcome. May even take it to PVS if its any presentable state

Mega update time :

Sorry all I haven't been on here in ages, have just got a rather time consuming job and with the uni exams it was all go go go. However I've done many a big things to the car now. Here are some juicy pics

So the list of bits i've done:
Added gsi rep skirts
Sprayed exterior trim and bumper tops rover gunmetal grey
New brake discs and brembo pads, car actually stops now
Went nuts with that sticker bomb stuff from fast car magazine
Put the standard gear knob back on
Sorted all the rust on the body work
Went nuts with polish and wax
Hammerited the entire underneath and kurusted and noticable rust under there
CC'd scuttle panel
And white tigra wheels with arden blue centres and wheel nuts

I can quite happily say that all the hard work is now done. From here on in its just maintaining it as i'm saving up for a corsa sport. Sadly cant afford to insure the 1.6 but the 1.4 will do. Will be a nice new base to work on.

C&C more than welcome hope you all like the changes
