You would have to find a good c20xe first, a car would be best option with fsh as you know the block hasn't done 350,000 miles and rebuilt 7 times.

i bought an 8 valve sri as an mot failure, was going to strip and sell everything but decided to put the engine in my 1.2 8v, no experience of engine swaps before but no stranger to getting my hands dirty, me and my dad did it on the drive in 3 half days without a crane, still going strong to this day

plan on knocking a wall down and making a drive as theres space, but then that goes on the funds list

its very unlikely putting a new engine in your car will put the insurance down, especially when it makes it more powerful

Cav engine is cheaper to insure than the GTE because it was a lower insurance group. Your insurance isnt going to go down.

my 1st one was my sri 8v to a ser( 2.0 8v 122bhp?) engine using 1.4 box shafts to see how it would go amazing lol so much torque ! bottom end shells went after like 1000 miles payed 50 pound for ser with no history so just put it in ha then got my seh engine (130bhp) and im using f18 box corsa shafts with cav inners 1st one was on goin for months wiring side 2nd time round done with in like 4 days easy then sent to a mate ported and polished head cam 4 branch with 2 and half system sounds pretty sexual may i add

X14xe to another x14xe to a x18xe1 to a c16xe then now a c20xe thats my car within 2 year of owning it

My first and only conversion was a X16XE to C20LET.

Was much easier than i thought it would have been. IMO replacing a head gasket on a 14/16XE is more difficult.
