it was a 1litre but now has a 1.6 gsi in anything i should look out for? or listen for??

If its a x16xe it wil smoke a little anyway mainly on start up so wouldn't worry if it does they all do it.

Make sure the rear quarters arnt full of filler. Check for accident damage, and rust under arches. And shit Engine conversions.

The rear wheel wells can rot. There has been people on her that have bought a car, stripped it out and been able to touch the wheel from inside the car.
