you don't need to have sky sports. you only need that if you want to view sports.

I've used it on my laptop. Doesn't look much different to the old Sky Mobile TV to be honest

Sky go is free for Sky TV customers with Sky Sports 1 & 2

So it is - I thought they had been advertising it as just a mirror or your Sky subscription but obviously not.

They were originally then at the last min it came out as being for Sky Sports customers only.
