Well I've been told. My chinese work horse aint gone wrong yet, and every Aprilia I've seen so far have been ridden by chavs so that's a fair point

Get a RS125 if thats your plan
I started out on one and i learnt more than enough to take on to a big bike.
A Cagiva mito wouldn't be a bad choice either but i have never really had much to do with them. Their build quality doesn't look as good as the RS and even that could be better.
I have one for sale as well!

There are several chinese built bikes and scooters lying in the storage container at my work because we cannot get parts for them.
Couldnt even tell you the last time i had an Aprillia in for anything other than a service or brakes/tyres
I have a pal who could probably help you out.
He is a Ducati Specialist but also stocks a lot of import parts. He has always got hold of everything i have ever needed. I can pass you his details if you need them?
90% of them just get left by the customer because -
A) They buy a better bike off us.
B) Dont want to spend the money.
Then come winter when the workshop goes quiet they get ebay'd as projects, stripped for bits, or the better ones tidied up to sell on.

The problem I have is I haven't saved enough for an aprilia rs125 or cagiva mito which is what I'd prefer. Have thought about a yamaha dt125 as another option.

I wouldn't mind a DT for a bit of fun but would preffer a SX. Had a Husky CH which was great but no fun for anything 70+
i have a RS here i can get to wherever you are in the country for £800.

A few mates had speedfight WRC versions which were nippy. Still checking eBay & local
Paper for something ideal.
