Barndoor - it is just to narrow down the possible place of issue and test that engine starts.
Lee - With ignition on the PCM relay wouldn't click even though it should. No power to ecu and no cranking.
Initially we thought it was either ECU or wiring as that relay has ECU enabled ground.
I bought Haynes manual today with all the wiring diagrams, My dad checked if required power supply was appearing at the plug that comes from ecu. Everything fine there but no contact between plug and the relay terminals. So got to take apart the fuse box tomorrow and see whats the crack in there!

is it by any chance a 2.0 tdci 130 ps??

Weren't they supposed to have an ecu flash?
They lose their injector values and cut out / won't start etc etc??

it is 130ps Mondy, Yes..
The thing is it starts and runs fine with one connection by-passed. from plug to relay connector. The above is From plug straight to relay. So must mean ECu, fuel pump etc are fine...
