after tracing a melted stereo live,

it appears to go to the back of this and i have no idea how to unplug it and dont want to break it

You need to split it and take both sections on the left side, leaving one section on the right.

I hope I'm right. If you do it wrong it'll explode everywhere and fire little bits of clip all over your car.

i had the grey internal part coming out
and got scared :/ of bits flying everywere and it never working again.

all of this so i can have a working stereo

Disconnect battery first, as when you stick a screwdriver in there, you'll probably start your car
