I've got the above xbox, just booted it up now and it slightly grinds (may be because there's no disk in :/ ) but its just shows a black screen with a slight bit of green down the left hand side, can still hear the menu sounds etc though. Is it just my component canoes are fooked or the xbox?

unplug it all and plug it in again to make sure it's not that?
Hasn't the elite got HDMI? Try an HDMI cable if you've got one?

No for some reason I didn't receive one? Just text a mate and going to borrow his. I've unplugged all the cables etc

Thought you might of had a spare one lying around, don't think they come with one.
I'd definitely give that a go first. and tbh, HDMI looks far better than Component does anyway, so if it works you'll wanna buy one!

It's working now, thanks! Just unplugged everything. Yeah I'm going to get s hdmi one tomorrow now
