The ST TDCi engines are known to shit injectors with big replacement costs, is it only the 2.2 that's affected?

307 hdi for cheapness. My dad has a 2004 with 135k on the clock. Caused a few problems when he first had it (the snow of last year), where it transpired that it had the wrong start motor fitted so it wouldnt crank quick enough. (the are prone to start motors and someone had fitted one that physically fit but was half the power so wouldnt crank hard enough in the cold. It was only after i put new plugs, and battery in it when this was discoverd). His is only 90 bhp so pretty slow, but it keeps going, uses no oil and doesnt smoke one bit. It spends all its life driving around town aswell.

Seat Leon FR+ TDI (Cupra R style kit)

Yes and no, alot of the diesel engines from the last 9 years or so can suffer from it, I wouldn't say we get them in regulally.
