As above, my Corsa B 1.0 (2000) would not start tonight.
It turns over freely, there is no flickering EML, but it just refuses to fire. There is plenty of petrol in the tank. Evontually, after waiting for a few seconds and trying again, it starts up and runs fine.
One thing, when it is turning over and over, there is a click-clicking sound from behind the dash which seems to be from behind the heater vent nearest the driver's window.
Can anyone help? I'm concerned as I my fiance uses this car and I dont want her having to wait for the AA somewhere miles away.

CHeers guys, just purchased a new fuel pump relay. Will try that and then crank sensor if the problem persists

Another vote for the relay. Clicking in my previous experiance has always resulted in a relay being replaced and the problem going.
