I have a TSR/Milltek 4 branch manifold, which has got a flexi join in it like the R32 manifolds

Whats the proper way of building these up as I think mine is blowing.

Should have an asbestos gasket inbetween the joins.

Got that, I hammered it over the mani side, the the next part sits over it, should the bolts be tightened all the way up? I think the springs would be fully compressed it the bolts are fully tightened

The flat part of the gasket should sit over like a ridge part that sticks out and the curved part should sit inside the other half of the exhaust, if that makes sense.

Not sure how tight they need to be but id imagine pretty tight.

Mines blowing too and I've tried everything to sort it, I may just angle grind both sided of the joint and add some flexi pipe via U-Clamps

The bolts should be fully tightened, they have a lip that they tighten upto which puts enough pressure on the springs to close it up whilst still offering a small amount of flex.

I will try fully tightening them then. Its like all the shitty old civics and CRX's you see at RWYB days, loads of fucking noise but only do 17sec 1/4er's.
