How is it costing £15 million? That makes no sense at all!

I work on building sites all over the south of essex, we get broken into regularly, nothing we can do. They've got one hell of a nerve. In the worst case, they managed to nick a digger off of a rural site we were building on. They got a Flat-Bed Lorry with a Hiab onto the site late at night and lifted it on and drove off!
Guess where the tracker tracked it to..... Dale Farm Pikey Camp
We Had a site in Wallington about 18 months ago and there were two camps nearby.
They stole two diggers, drained the telehandler, scissor lift and dumper of diesel, nicked all the copper pipe after the first fix and broke into a strongbox for a load of powertools. These were 4/5 different instances and everytime the police said they knew who it was but wouldn't go on to the camp because it wasn't safe. Anyone who's worked on building sites for a decent amount of time will have fallen victim to gypos at some point.

I've heard that one from the police too. It's too risky going in there to get your stuff back.
Everything you wrote, that's happened to us. One job, we first fixed 3 times, then we had to get 24/7 security until the alarms were live. Costly to say the least
