Am getting some new brake pads and wondered what people thought of these.
Was looking at cosworth pads and ferrodos but budget just can't stretch and I can get these for 110 front and rear.
Am matching with oem discs, braided line and some higher temp fluid.
Usage is fast road and a few track days each year.

ive been advised all the "stuff" pads are usless as you will struggle to get the temp up to get them working properly
heard this from a race team i worked for they hated them :/
ds2500 seem to be popular though

i'd always thought that but the civic boys seem to really rate them.
DS2500 as op, i cant afford to spend 220 on pads at the mo and they need doing before the 22nd (MOT)

Mintex pads are pretty good but create quite alot of dust.

I've just bought Yellows for the rear but won't really be able to tell if they're any good as barely any braking comes from the rear. Only bought them as I eat through cheap rear pads so I'm hoping these will stand up to the heat better. I'd go for Ferodos though, £220 for all round Ferodos is worth every penny.

As much as i would love to i cant afford them.
This month for the car has seen:
Service, 4 wheel allignment, MOT, bushes (fitting only), dyno run, 2 x new tyres, braided lines, fluid, pads plus consumables. Also forked for my car insurance and to get my ex mrs off my mortgage.

Got them on the Mini.
VERY dusty when initially bedding in, but now they're better than OEM pads for dust.
They're better than OEM pads, but not brilliant still - managed to cook them pretty quickly at Evo Triangle after a lap or so (with higher temp fluid, uprated discs and braided hoses too)
