how good would it be to have a drive of an unmolested factory mileage 1988 bmw right now in 2011 am 23 born in 88 and have never driven a brand new 88 beemer obviously..

Would need some bits and bobs sorting out to drive wouldn't it? Battery dead. Tyres maybe have flat spots. Petrol will be past it. Does oil degrade over that kind of time or not?
