Missus looking for insurance, most companys are a joke.
Does anyone know of any that does cheap insurance? it's only a 1.1 saxo ffs and she only drives 2000 miles per year max.. and some places are quoting £1500+!!!!

1500 is cheap for first year

especially on a car that has a huge young driver crash statistic
i paid 2k on my 1.1 when i was 17

My sis is insured with diamond on her KA, was £680, shes 18, mum and dad named drivers. I could be on there for another £30 (I'm 22) but I can drive it third party so there was no point. That's FC btw

as of december 2012 the insurance companies aren't allowed to give women cheaper insurance.. due to a report earlier this year on gender discrimination... about time i think anyway..

It isn't her first year though she's 23 and been driving since she was 20.

Having mum and dad on there practically halved the quote. We are lucky to live in a good area though

admirals 10 month policy my girlfriend was 17 when she passed first year with them was £871 just renewed and is now paying £551

My other half is 24 and on her Renault Twingo RS Gordini only pays about £360 FC with me on it. That is with More Than.

i paid 1700 for my first years insurance, going forward 8 years thats normal for a first years for a first time driver is it not?

my 1st year insurance was £2068 including interest on a corsa b 1.2 8v that was 5yr ago

I have never paid more than £900 for insurance in my life. I'm 24 now but at 17 I paid £890 FC on a 1.0 Corsa C. Helps alot to add parents as named drivers. Also I live in a good postcode which helps alot.

I now pay about £400 FC on a Astra coupe 2.2, £160 FC on Viva and £120 FC on Honda CRF250X.

my other half is with diamond, paying £500 to insure a brand new fiesta 1.25. she is 21 though.
