As we all no standard corsa brakes are shite so im goin to get some 2.0l brakes.
Already got braided hoses and fluid ready and i will get some kind of fancy pads but am wondering what disc's to use.
Will standard 2.0l disc's be up to the job or should i spend the extra on some blinging grooved shizzles?
All advice welcome

Standard discs and pads are fin are fine.
Although standard 1.6 stuff is fine also so long as its uprated with some proper stuf rather than shite ebc and halfords special stuff.

I've had ebc on my last 3 cars and they've been superb on them lol. Got the discs on my Lcr now and there bloody good.

I had 2ltr brakes on mine and they were total cack lol. The V6 upgrade is the way to go now.

Standard pads are great for the price imo, been canned on my car and never had fade, also fitted to the work traffic thats heavy and also cainned, brakes perfect.

Iv got a set of the v6 brakes in a box under the bed 
Thing is iv been told they will feel quite spongy even with the braided lines. Also been told they are very "numb"
Just thoughht the v6's may be abit overkill for a 1.6

Spongey, no. You have more pedal travel but thats it. With braided lines they stop very, very well.

iv got gsi calipers on my x16xe with mintex discs and pads 256x20 and they are pretty good, only problem is they seem to warp within a few month of being on.
if i brake hard a get a bit of a wobble at the steering wheel and they only went on about 2-3 month ago
