With bonfire night less than a month away, I started doing some searching about for things to burn, and turned up a product called Mystical Fire.
http://www.mysticalfire.co.uk/Welcome.html
I've bought myself 3x packets off an ebay seller for about £3.50 delivered, but I've not used them yet. Has anyone on here used them before? If so, are they any good?
More importantly, what's in this stuff?
a: is it safe to use with kids about (I know the dangers of fire - I'm meaning more so about toxic fumes etc...)
b: is it possible to just buy the ingredients yourself and make them at home rather than paying for a tiny branded packet filled with a couple of grams of flamable powder?

Simple chemistry and it'll just be powdered compounds like potassium nitrate for Violet, copper sulphate for Blue, strontium for red etc Most of the compounds are freely available, no doubt you can buy most of them off ebay.
