i recently posted that my redtop corsa would idle dodgy/ fail to come down the revs properly after it was warmed up or had been driven hard. i cleaned idle control valve reset ecu but i still have the same problem. it only happens once its warm, idles a treat and when you rev it up the range it`ll come back down to round a grand straight away, but once its warm it`ll take ages to come back down to a grand and sometimes wont at all. hasnt done my tits in yet but its goin a long way to annoying the fuck out of me lol.
its a dizzy type redtop incase that helps
cheers in advance people

now then ive been tinkering about with the car just there and tried a couple of things, i cleaned the throttle body and springs etc with some wd to loosen things up.
also while i had the car running i unplugged the air flow meter and she cut straight out, fired back up again when i plugged it back in and turned the key. is this ok?
also i unplugged the throttle position sensor and nothing happened, even when i revved the car. is this normal or is the tps frigged?
thanks again in advance lads

Have you tried running the car whilst spraying carb cleaner around the inlet area, throttle body etc to see if the revs increase?
Sounds like your AFM is working fine.
Your TPS may well be frigged, i'd try cleaning and lubing your current one before replacing though.

wd40 is a bad idea on the tb mate. i made this mistake when it was getting stuck shut, after a clean out with wd it was fine for a few days but it shape gets clogged back up again as the dirt/grit/shit get stuck. carb cleaner is you friend if it blocks up
