Seems pretty cool, but in all honesty looks like its got some properly crap cornering abilities, shouldn't be squeeling like that even with rubbish tyres...probably suspension design/setup for the back at a guess.

I was thinking exactly the same, looks like its all over the place. Seen many better FWD Corsas!

Been through the build thread and its amazing but video of it running is disappointing.

i imagine all that gear weighs a fair bit, car might eb a bit small for 4x4 in that application and power

I don't think its got anything to do with weight or size, think of other small cars that are good at handling.
I absolutely bet its the REAR suspension design...that wasn't designed very well ie roll-centre height needs to be higher than the front...I bet its actually lower, which makes understeer.

I agree it doesn't look to handle too well, but have you watched the second video? Soo

Extended steering column to move the weight of the driver back, remote reservoir dampers etc - awesome!

Everthing is rose jointed, I think once it's been set up it will be pretty good, he said he hasn't spent long setting it up yet.

He was aiming for about 270bhp when he was making it.
