thing is, i know this sounds mad but why was the police called? how many incidents over the years have people been assaulted, didnt see police running on the pitch when zidane headbutted someone

chances are the refs prob work for free or dont get paid enough to get slapped about in that league

I was watching a local team play a few year back and one guy smacked the ref for my mates team.

Match abandoned, and he was fined £500 and banned for life.

However, that ban was lifted last season and he can play again now.

I think its a joke, if you do this, you should be banned for LIFE, not just a few years
