I have just bought a new CCTV unit and it has a coax/video output. All my monitors are VGA/DVI/HDMI. I want a black LCD monitor I can mount to the wall to display the picture but it needs to have a yellow video-in. Any ideas?

My other 2 monitors are ASUS so would prefer that to keep it matching.

Here's what I have so far...

It will have 2 feeds, one to my Onkyo 806 for the big screen/DVR and I want another feed going to a monitor fixed to the wall. Any idea?

Do you know if they do a VGA switch so I can switch between sources?

The compoosite to VGA adapter in Maplins was £40 and then a further £12 for a power lead and £5 for a VGA cable... I thought I'd give it a miss.

I like the idea but I use my other monitor as a dual monitor so ideally I'd need to be able to switch between them.

You'll get it cheaper than that, £5 for a VGA cable tells me you're not trying hard enough.

I had a big job finding a screen for the reverse camera with the same problem, RCA is difficult to specify, and I would guess you'll struggle even more over about 8".

Alright cheers.

What about BNC to a device that plugs into a USB slot and displays the feed on screen? Any idea if any decent ones exist?

I'm talking to a mate and he said he had a PC card that accepted BNC and had a viewer on the PC along with recording to PC's HDD and remote viewing via a browser... Do they exist?

I spent a lot of time before trying to get it to work with better software but never managed.

It does the job, it's just painful trying to look back if you don't know what time you are looking for.
