Takes the piss out of the splitter?

I take the piss out of it Its functional though.

It was just for 1 round really as she'd mangled the carbon one.

A functional splitter on a race car is different from a massive wing and some plywood on a road car, that's the difference Chris.

Chris actually uses his car on track, but because hes not going round the race track competitively - it doesnt work?

john.

can you please tell me what the difference is between a road car and a race car that would make the splitter non functional?

my little 'road car' with a bit of plywood is a second slower round anglesey than fees 'race car' with 700bhp and racing stickers.

my car is not a road car i put on the track, its a track car i use on the road.

It's useless at the speeds you do on the road mainly.

If it's only for track fair enough, still looks stupid though.

Whats going on?

Hey hey hey, please dont compare Fee's donkey performance that day on shitey road tyres

We setup the geometry in the paddock in the rain on the sat. What a weekend He best indicated lap if she could just string the corners together was 1:17 - I think a 1:16 with 888's would have been possible. Who knows She was also 'just' running 640ish bhp using normal V Power no E85R.

Fee's car is a road-car. Its fully road legal. Taxed and tested.

john.. the splitter works from whatever speed you are doing, the faster you go the more effect it has. if you actually look at it it will probably do more on the vx as if has a flat underneath..

but i know for a fact that its better on b roads now than it was without. 60mph is 60mph track or public road.

you got any times off hand for other tracks on 888's or 048Rs? Fee's never done Anglesey on decent tyres (timed) cant really judge the differences.

Fee lost about 1.5 to 2 secs on the tracks she knows and likes... about 4 on others (Cadwell etc)

Back to plywood splitters - My Impreza used to have one... and it was a better solution than its current effort. HDPE - its just distorted slightly over time and is heavier!
