Just come back from a week away and a few times I logged on to my girlfriend's laptop using my W995, have used my iPhone in the past but unfortunately it got stolen a month back!

Anyway, it worked well, but it was very, very slow... back to the 56k days. Apart from, literally just this forum was super fast! So I don't know what servers or whatever Corsasport is on, but it's working really well it got to the point where I was only bothering to check this forum whilst I was away, so, well done?

It's because of it's simple lay out, and it isn't full of ad's like most other forums.

Think its due to the coding, not just whether it has adds. Being a fast website has always held priority

Cs has always been mega fast. Some of us have been very vocal about it.

Not blowing smoke up Ian's arse but credit where it's due, it's pretty much the only forum worth looking at when I've not got wifi and it's very reliable.
Used to use Audi-Sport a bit but that was a pig on mobile and used to go down a lot, it's so rare for CS to be down when it is there is usually a thread about it as soon as it comes back up!

What's the secret, clean layout, well written, bit of both?

Blow away it makes my life worthwhile

There's no secret really, chop out the unnecessary crap and be picky and faff about with the software until it's running very well.

I'm working with that Puma People code and it's got so many options for configuring things differently, making things look this way or that, user groups, loads of blah so before the server can even think about making up a page of content it's got to worry about all that stuff.

CS just goes and gets the threads and gives you them, no fuss. Most of that stick on tat is completely unnecessary.

Ian, I've been on nightshift and I've yet to see you offline. Oh, and yes, it's easily the fastest forum I use.

Also can I just point out that clicking on the avatar to make it a full size picture is brilliant...

I don't know another forum that does it quite the same. I'm a moderator on another forum and wanted to get this feature added but they wouldn't do it
