I do alot of miles and want to sell the diesel golf for something petrol / fast / sporty to use daily instead! Bollocks to having two cars unless one is so crazy you can't drive it daily like my mates Quattro although I imagine he will take it to work every now and again!

its a short term thing because he has no work atm. if he can get a old type r for 4k then it will free up 5k

I thought that would have been abundantly clear as well, but obviously not.

quite the opposite, took the puma out for a run at the weekend, and loved it even more then when i was driving it often.
also the the fuck mentioned evos
might aswell make up any old shit
so here we go
should have an evo as your daily run about whilst you keep the Mclaren F1 as your weekend toy
[Edited on 15-11-2011 by Steve]
Evo was an example because running one of those will cost you a bit if you were to use it as a daily.
Its like having a 1.5 dci clio as your weekend toy and a 1.1 saxo as your during the week runaround. a puma is hardly going to cost you any more than a swift when you think about it.

I can see Scott's point here. A Puma isn't an expensive car to run by any stretch of the imagination. At the same time I can appreciate that it wouldn't be a great daily due to being stripped. It was so boring having fuckall stereo in my XSi.

I think your clients would be impressed if they seen you exiting from a clio 182, more so than a swift.

Apologies for not seeing the obvious when the both the OP and the thread tittle completely void what you have suggested.
If that's the case fair enough, but its not what was said.

CBA To read 4 pages by surely engine displacement does not really mean 'that' much in today's world?
