I'm scrapping my 172 shell soon as I get everything off it.
How much is aluminium going for these days? I have an alloy bonnet

Scrapped a rover 25 last week for £140, so a little bit less than that I should imagine Ben.

seems pretty decent then, not worth cutting it up for the sake of £50 or whatever extra i may get.

If you can take it as a car legally do that, you'll spend £20 in grinder blades.
Problem is a dolly isn't technically legal because you're not recovering it.

legal and essex don't usually go together
but thanks for the advice, thought it was only if the driven wheels aren't touching the ground then it's fine.

Problem you have is that it's too heavy to not be braked as your rear axle on the car won't be.

Can't remember the name I'll try and find out.
If you look through the local paper every single scrappy says £200 minimum price paid for any car. Someone at work for £250 for KA a few weeks back! Couldn't believe it, I haven't seen proof... but I really don't see why they would lie, they're not a blagging kind of person.
