They wasnt sure if its the wrong way, isnt the adjuster supposed to be on the bottom ?

I think they are mate, pretty sure the adapter goes at the bottom

Adjuster at the bottom yeah. Normally bolt through the spring seat too

My old ones were like that. I thought the we're wrong but wouldnt fit the other way. Removed them straight after anyway.

They do make a noise when they're bound up like that, but it gives you a portion which unloads without loosening the spring, bit of a trade-off.
